Jordan Returns to the Court with the Bobcats

The practice court, that is. Michael Jordan is the Managing Member of Basketball Operations for the Charlotte Bobcats, but you wouldn't necessarily know it based on his actions. Jordan has maintained almost too low of a profile since joining the team, and with their recent streak of 10 losses in their last 12 games, it seems that MJ has finally figured out that he needs to have a more prominent role if the team is to turn things around.
What we really made me (decide to come to practice), was because they were missing so many little things. You can see if they play with the right focus, they can do it.

The Orlando game, which I saw the other night when I was here. I was nervous about, obviously because it's the first national television game and you didn't know how they were going to come out. They were nervous and they came out and relied upon each other and they played extremely well and had a nine-point lead. Once they got that comfort, they reverted back to old habits. "It's a television game, this is where I can showcase my talents." It became more an individual game and not using all the components within the team as they did in the first half. That's when I made the point to say, "Let me see if I can look at the film with these guys and let them see what I see from my perspective and then relay it to them and see if they understand what I'm seeing.

Re: Jordan Returns to the Court with the Bobcats

"No question in my mind he’d still be very effective in the NBA. He might not be Air Jordan, but he would definitely, definitely help this team. His presence is electrifying, even if he was going to play just eight to 10 minutes, just to set people up. I don’t think there’s any chance you could talk him into it. But it is Christmas."

That's a quote from Head Coach Sam Vincent. Thought I would post it on here.

I think Air Jordan realize that if he no longer wears the jersey, he has trouble picking up the younger college girls at Spring Break...sooo...

I coudnt agree more with the coach, Jordan can still play, and he'd still command the court for the most part, the man can beat you with his mind alone a lot of times, I wish he'd come back for one or two more years but thats unlikely, hes the the best player the NBA will and has ever seen..

And he is also currently one of the worst executives the NBA has ever seen. This move only undermines any respect his coach has. It says to me, "Here's how to do it. Watch me!"

Cool Re: Jordan Returns to the Court with the Bobcats

Jordan was a great player , maybe he could still be but I dont think owners are allowed to play. His Management skills are getting better although I feel he made a blunder with his choise as a coach. He didnt do too bad in this years draft. J-Rich is working out and Nazr has good games and bad games but I think he is still a good addition to the team although I hated giving up Herrmann for him.
