Okafor to play primarlily at Power Forward this year.

Charlotte Bobcats coach Sam Vincent is penciling in center Primoz Brezec as a starter. Brezec missed roughly the first two weeks of training camp with a family issue, but the 7-footer played in both the weekend exhibitions, against the Los Angeles Lakers and Phoenix Suns.
Vincent hopes to use Emeka Okafor primarily at power forward, rather than center, this season.

---I think Okafor is better suited for the PF slot. Of the young C-PF, I rated them just a bit below Dwight Howard...the man got 10.9 boards and 2.6 blocks per game last year.

Brezec didn't play a lot last year, but his first two seasons as a Bobcat where good.

If his back is healthy, Okafor is such a solid, consistant and just plain good forward. You can automatically pencil him in for at least 10 boards a game along with all those other goodies.

Hope the back thing does not get cronic on him. Backs do that.
