Michael Jordan cheating?

Is Bobcats owner Michael Jordan breaking NBA rules and getting an unfair scouting advantage through his high school All-Star Game? That question was raised in an interesting article by Dan Wetzel and Adrian Wojnarowski of Yahoo! Sports.

The article can be read at: http://sports.yahoo.com/nba/news;_yl...yhoo&type=lgns

Among the most interesting bits were these comments from an anonymous Western Conference GM: "Danny Ainge ends up seated next to Kevin Durant's mother and gets fined $30,000, but Michael goes out and plays one on one with [top high school prospect] O.J. Mayo and it is not a problem?... It's a conflict of interest."

So is it a conflict of interest? Should the NBA force Jordan to halt his charity game?

no, don't halt the game...just make him sit next to the kid's mother and then fine him...

All of these freakin rules...there is a draft isn't there?...then let Ainge be, I am sure he paid a tidy sum for the seat...

I think the point is it should be okay for both or okay for neither.

It appears as though Jordan, and therefore Charlotte, is getting special treatment here.
