CHARLOTTE, N.C., Dec. 16 (AP) -- Charlotte Bobcats forward Sean May left Saturday's game against Boston due to a sprained right ankle and did not return.
May was battling for a defensive rebound early in the second quarter when he came down awkwardly. He immediately limped down the tunnel to the locker room.
May, who had led the Bobcats in scoring in four of the past eight games, scored a career-high 32 points in Charlotte's win over Orlando on Thursday.
