Panthers vs. Cardinals 1-10-09

Panthers will host the Cardinals in this NFC divisional playoff.
Panthers are run-oriented and the Cardinals are only a middle of the road defense.
The biggest hurdle facing the Cards here isnt just slowing down DeAngelo Williams, Steve Smith or Julius Peppers, but the place where the game is played. Its the jinx of the East. Cards are 0-5 in the East this year and 2-19 since 2003.
Quarterbacks Jake Delhomme and Kurt Warner knew each other 11 years ago when they both played for the Amsterdam Admirals of the now defunct NFL Europe. Warner was the starter and Delhomme his backup.
Jake thought it should have been his job at the time to start. Maybe he has something to prove to Kurt now.
Panthers?
or Cardinals? What's your pick and why.

I can't believe the score right now ( 27 - 7 ) . I would of thought this was an easy one for the Panthers , boy am I wrong ...

Go figure after going 1-3 with my picks last week and losing with my Titans pick, I figured this would be my one lock. Damn what are the Panthers doing! They aren't covering Fitzgerald and they've barely tried to run the ball. They just letting Delhomme play gun-slinger

Another interception!

Wow, the Panthers are going to need a miracle to pull this one out! I admit to being shocked by this one.

Re: Panthers vs. Cardinals 1-10-09

This is crazy, the Cardinals pick off 13 pass all year and they have 5 in not even two playoff games. If I'm the Eagles or Giants, I might acutally be scared to play the Cardinals. (Never thought I would say that!)

I didnt think the Cards would win either. But they have actually developed a running game and the defense has shown it can play.
Jake was pathetic. Good grief.
The Cards finally broke the Eastern Jinx. Good for them.
And they finally turned it around.
I like their head coach.
Looks like Kurt will be the guy next year too.
Fitzgerald makes another fantastic athletic play.

The announcers commented on that, this is a little different than all of the loses, the other games were 1 PM Eastern time, which is 10 AM east the, so would have to get at 5 AM to get ready and stuff which is acutally like 2 in the west. So the big thing was the mental clock in the Cardinal's heads says Moose Johnson. But with a night game, oh well we have to play at 5 PM in the west it's not that big of a deal. There's my logic behind that one

I heard that too.
It makes sense I guess.
