High praise for Jake Delhomme of the Carolina Panthers here, as the author writes "Without fail, Jake Delhomme was the FIRST person named as a leader by every offensive player... This season’s ultimate success won’t depend on Steve Smith catching 100 balls or Foster running for 1500 yards. It will be successful if guys like Jake Delhomme continue to make plays when they have to." Is Delhomme officially a member of the NFL's elite quarterbacking tier? Could Carolina succeed with anyone else under center?
