Carolina Panthers Director of College Scouting Tony Softli has left the team and accepted a VP position with the Rams. This is one of those little things that most fans never hear about that can so devistate a team in the future. Softli ran the last three drafts for the Panthers, and is credited with scouting and eventually convincing the team to draft standouts Julius Peppers, Steve Smith, Kris Jenkins and Dan Morgan. That kind of quality scouting is an intangible that can be hard to replace.

Softli's replacement is Don Gregory, a former scout for the Chiefs. Anyone know anything about this guy?
