Now this is the kind of attitude I'd want my starting quarterback to have. Jake Delhomme of the Carolina Panthers told reporters the following: "You don't play this game to go 8-8 or to go 10-6 and play one round in the playoffs... You play to get yourself in the game and win it... You want your peers to know that you're a Super Bowl champ. If you are a champion or have been on a championship team, that's what it's about. The memories, that's what it's about. To be known as a champion." I think he'll get there, eventually, perhaps even this year. What are your thoughts on Jake Delhomme as a quarterback, and on the Panthers chances of going all the way in 2006?

Well they gave him a great receiving corps and some fancy backs, so what else can Jake say? He is a pretty darn good QB...not one of my favorites, but I got to respect the man.
