Peppers not committing long term to Panthers

Julius Peppers in in the final year of his contract but makes no promises about staying with the Panthers long term.
He is coming off his worst season as a pro. This year he says he feels more powerful, quicker. He has been moved from the left defensive end to the right and says this is where he is most comfortable, where he played in high school and college.
He is not worried about next season or what may happen after that. He is focused on the now and playing football.

ESPN - As negotiations continue, Peppers won't commit to Panthers long-term - NFL

Peppers didnt look like his old self last year at all. He started out the season last year sick and was sluggish all year. He has been drawing a lot of raves in training camp so far.

Re: Peppers not committing long term to Panthers

I'm interested to see how the move from left to right helps him. If he feels more natural there, he should return to form, right?
