I had joked with Lefty that the Panthers were going to sign Farve back in Feburary. My sources inform me that Farve and Hurney have been in conversations that Delhomme may not have a come back he may be hurt worse than the Panthers let on. Gee... I wished I would have joked about Jason Taylor and Jeremy Shockey too.

Yeah, I mean, dispite all the wishy-washy, back-and-forth, will-he-play-or-won't-he stuff, he's still a Pro Bowl caliber QB and would help in Carolina.

Favre is pro bowl caliber, but remember the lousy years he had before the 07 season. I'm not so sure he can repeat last year again. And at best Stoney, its only a band aid as I am sure you are aware of. Who are your no. 2 and 3 backups again?
