So why is the Charlotte paper report them as optimistic? Does Jerry Richardson really believe a running back and one offensive lineman can change a defense that only turned in 23 sacks last season? I don't. Frankly the Panthers need to find a way to get jason taylor on the left end of this defense this season if they want a chance at winning or sacking the QBs. |
Teams are optimistic every year. Usually it is catching but apparently it hasnt caught onto you.
Delhomme was out last year so that has to be positive. Signing old vets isnt a good move. How old is Moose compared to Smith?
I like that Jason Taylor scenario too. But dont think it will happen.
