Three months after being released by the Carolina Panthers, Dan Morgan was trying to coax his body into a new start with the New Orleans Saints.
But Morgan took a look around his home and saw his kids and pregnant wife. He decided to take off his helmet and become a full time Dad.
He seems eager to start his new life. Morgan is 29.

Yeah, I do. It's always a shame to see a promising career end like this, due to injury, but the kid has a lot of life left to enjoy. No sense risking that to try and prolong his playing days for another year or two.
