Is Peppers switching positions?

The team is thinking about moving Peppers from left defensive end where he played the last six seasons to right defensive end, once occupied by Mike Ruckers.
At least that is where Peppers started on Friday at minicamp.

Good idea or not?

Re: Is Peppers switching positions?

Does this mean he won't be on the bench? Will he actually play or is he just going to give it a half hearted try again?

Re: Is Peppers switching positions?

Peppers is past his prime not for nothing. Still one of the better defensive ends but he can be blocked now.

Re: Is Peppers switching positions?

Well, they do need to try something to get him going again. Maybe switching sides will be the spark he needs, who knows?

Peppers has a ton of talent, and everyone has off years, I wouldn't throw the book at him, I think he has a big year and returns to Pro Bowl form.

So do I, but it looks like we are the only ones who think so.

Still, talent or not, he had a bad year last year, and it certainly wouldn't hurt trying something new with him, right?
