Earlier this month, the Carolina Panthers signed the following undrafted free agents: Northwestern QB Brett Basanez (the 2005 Big Ten offensive player of the year); WRs Tave Biddle from Mississippi, Jovon Bouknight from Wyoming, Lynzell Jackson from Weber State, Justin McCullum from Stanford and Daniel Smith from Idaho; OL Seppo Eywaraye from Nebraska, Adam O'Connor from William & Mary, Adam Stenavich from Michigan and Albert Toeaina from Tennessee; cornerbacks Jarrett Bush from Utah State and Marcus Cassel from UCLA, and defensive end Devan Long from Oregon.

Which of these guys have futures with the NFL Panthers? Normally, I'd say Basanez, but with Delhomme, Weinke and LeFors in front of him, I can't see where he cracks the lineup. Maybe with another team...
