The Carolina Panthers have agreed to terms with free agent wide receiver D.J. Hackett on a two-year, $3.5 million contract, according to the Charlotte Observer. Hackett, who spent his first four seasons in the NFL with the Seattle Seahawks, has battled injuries throughout his career. Last season he missed 10 games while compiling 32 catches for 384 yards and three touchdowns.

OMG at first I thought I heard they had signed Dino Hackett... but here we go again paying too much for injured players. A high ankle sprain kept this guy out of comission for 10 games last season... another Dan Morgan?

It seems they do like picking up injured players. And paying too much. Free agent signings just not good things, most of the time. Unless you get a disgruntled Randy Moss and he turns into Mr. Sweetness.

I agree that is way too much money for Hackett...he is not even a top tier player when not injuired.

I never said that... i said if we lose Hackett we may need to pick up a new WR. Plus it was a joke bears, i dont think all of our WR's are randy moss's
