Marty Hurney and John Fox in trouble?

Last season they did nothing and neither did the Panthers. The fans are livid and want change. Finally Marty Hurney and John Fox are forced to do something about the personell on the team. So far the cuts have been exactly what the hard core fans have been calling for but there needs to be more like David Carr [gotta go]. They need to be very careful about who they bring into the locker room. The new players MUST be healthy and younger than what we already have. We do not need to load up on has beens. This years draft will be paramount to the survival of the franchise. Another bad season and well it ain't gonna be pretty in Charlotte... Plainly put the fans are giving Brother Jerry one last chance to get it together before they say goodbye and shove the PSLs up someones piehole.

John Fox is a good coach who had one bad season. Firing him would be a big mistake.

He has had two bad back to back bad seasons and refused to do anything to get better. He and Marty Hurney are joined to this upcoming season if it goes well they get to keep thier jobs. If it doesn't Jerry Richardson already has Bill Cowher's number in his wallet.

Cool Re: Marty Hurney and John Fox in trouble?

In a Jerry Richardson owned operation, everything goes through the owner. I dont blame noone, not even the coach for last season. Our air was sucked right out of our sails when Jake went down. We had "No one" to play backup. We brought in ole Vinny and for an old guy he did well until he got hurt. Carr was a lemon (NFL needs a lemon clause) as a backup and all we had left was Matt Moore a rookie with alot of potental.
I blame the QB position as the main reason last season ended up like it did. I blame everything else on ownership. The fans on just about every Panthers board I visit all called for this new youth movement since about mid season last year and I think the ownership saw the same things we the fans saw and thus is the reason we are now going in that direction.
