Some Carolina fans are calling for the return of WR "Moose" Muhammad to Carolina to team up once again with Steve Smith. He was originallly released by the Panthers because he was due a $10 million roster bonus that management didnt want to give him.

See, I never understood why they call this a bonus...in a contract it should be called..."A balloon payment that we are hoping/and betting against having to pay the player some day...but which might entice him to sign now and which will look good in the figures published."

Are the Bears wanting to get rid of Moose? Id surley love to him him back in a Panther uniform as long as he isnt hurt or lost anything.....

Bears have already cut him. Poor guy was due another roster bonus, $500,000 this time. He is 35, he didnt have a great season last year, but its hard to tell if its because he has lost anything. Just think Bears' quarterbacks.

I don't know at age 35 he must be a bit slower. Then again he always was a bit more of a physical, possession receiver and you could cheat father time a bit more than a speedster could.

He is much slower, he can't any sepration any more.
