Who's on the chopping block in Carolina?

Teams can begin to release unwanted players today.
A list of players that should be worried about their jobs:
QB David Carr
Reasons to cut him: Carr looked frightened in the pocket and his teammates quickly lost confidence in him.
Reasons to keep him: Can’t think of any.
MLB Dan Morgan
Reasons to cut him: He can’t stay on the field
Reasons to keep him: The fear that Morgan will go to another team, remain healthy
RB DeShaun Foster
Reasons to cut him: Foster still hasn’t recorded a 1,000-yard season and posted only one 100-yard game in 2007
Reasons to keep him: Foster ran hard at times and is full of potential.
LG Mike Wahle
Reasons to cut him: Wahle has played 10 seasons and he could be on the downward side of his career.
Reasons to keep him: Wahle is the veteran of the offensive line and is one of the leaders of the team
DT Kris Jenkins
Reasons to cut him: Jenkins’s base salary is about $3 million and the Panthers were willing to cut ties with him last season
Reasons to keep him: Really, that’s not an unreasonable base salary for a big defensive tackle these days.
Others of note
Some players who could be just a little anxious about their futures are Hartwig ($2.1 million base sal-ary in 200, running back Nick Goings (three concussions in two years), guard-tackle Jeremy Bridges (benched at the end of last season), long snapper Jason Kyle (cheaper alternatives available) and wide receiver Travis Taylor

This team plans to have a better than "ho-hum" season. Any others you think should go or who do you think should stay?

Interesting. I think they should keep Carr and Foster. Carr is a decent back up QB and i think foster is due for a big season

Re: Who's on the chopping block in Carolina?

Carr, Morgan, Foster, Wahle, Goins, and all of the tight ends and wide recievers except Smith and Jarrett need to be gone.

Keep DT Jenkins he is honest and a leader in the locker room. He called out the cowards for thier cowardice.

I have been saying this but they need to unload Julius Peppers and get some fresh picks in here. They need to acquire WR Chad Brown and RB Jacob Hester in the draft and get a quality tight end through Free Agency.
