I was listening to the local sports radio station out of Raleigh this morning and everyday they give an update on the Carolina Panthers. The guy talking was inquiring about the Panther's looking at a QB in the draft this upcoming year as their first round pick. The name that was mentioned was John David Booty from USC. Now, he would fit in with his name being a nice southern name in a southern state. And the Booty to Jarrett connection would be relived. But how do you guys think it work for the Panthers if they decided to go that route with the draft?

I don't think there's any question they need to draft a QB. Delhomme is older and Carr looks to be nothing but a solid #2 at best.

As for Booty, I don't know if he's the right guy.

I agree. I don't know if Booty is the right guy. It's going to be interesting though to see what happens.

They should go QB - not sure if it should be Booty, Brohm, Brennan or someone who's last name DOESN'T start with B, but they DO need a QB.
