I was wondering about Shaun King too. But I am thinking he is signed somewhere. Bledsoe isnt much better than Vinny. Think I like Flutie better.

I liked Shaun King - I think he got a raw deal. The dude could get the job done under pressure. Other than Bledsoe, though, none of those guys are mentor-types, which I was under the impression was what Carolina wanted.

He played in one preseason game and threw a TD and a pick in about 1 Quarter he had problems

well yeah, but they arent to good at judging QB's would you say? all 3 of them arent that good..but even still, leak has to be better than 44 yr old vinny, and less risk of breaking a hip..

Except now they need him to start. I liked Shaun King too. I am not so sure about the raw deal. It seems he liked to party a bit.

Well, it could be that... or it could be that he was noticably worse than anyone on the Chicago roster. Apparently nobody thinks he's worth the gamble to find out, I guess.

If thats the case, how sad is it that your the QB who brought your college team to a nationanl title the year before and no one wants anything to do with you in the NFL? I mean everyone thought troy smith was horrible and he lead his college team to a loss on the title game and he still got on with the ravens..

Yeah, but Smith barely made it, as a third stringer.

And lots of National Championship QBs throughout the years have failed to catch on as NFL quarterbacks. Nothing new.
