Carolina Panthers vs. Arizona Cardinals

The Panthers (3-2) will be traveling to Arizona to take on the Cardinals (3-2) on Sunday, October 14th @ 4:05pm ET. The game will be aired on Fox.

The Panthers will be going into to this game with David Carr being the definitive starter for the team with it being announced yesterday that Jake Delhomme has opted to have Tommy John Surgery that will end his season.

The Cardinals are coming off of a 34 - 31 win over the struggling Rams and they are having a quarterback situation with Warner and Leinart splitting time at that position.

This should be an interesting game.

This will be another test for us.The only way i can see us moving on is if and only if our defence can step up and play the way i no they can play.

Welcome to GoTeamsGo Panther's fan Donnie. How has Carr looked? The stats haven't been pretty but those can be deceiving.

Donnie, thanks for joining GTG. Good to see some more Panther's faithful on here. I agree about the defense. They have been a bit sluggish at times and have not played to their full potential. I think Peppers is coming on more now, he started kind of slow this year.

He's looked ok. Nothing great. The team is going to have to embrace him as a leader. ESPN was saying last night that the Panthers will be tweaking their offense to fit Carr's style. He has a better arm than Delhomme and can utilize the speed and ability of the Panther's receivers on the long routes. He can roll out of the pocket a lot easier than Delhomme can which make it easier to buy time.

Carr returned to practice on Friday and should be good to go vs. Arizona, according to the Gaston Gazette.

Re: Carolina Panthers vs. Arizona Cardinals

In addition to Vinnie Testaverde starting for the Panthers, Kurt Warner has been injured and Tim Rattay is in the game for Arizona. So as the guys on CBS pointed out, this game is now featuring two QBs who were just signed this week!

Re: Carolina Panthers vs. Arizona Cardinals

despite playing with his walker, Vinny looked pretty good. He threw with accuracy and he also understood that the key to winning this game was hitting Steve Smith and hitting him often. Great game for the Panthers with all that has gone on!

Also, DeAngelo Williams had a great game rushing 10 times for 121 yards.
