The Carolina Panthers have signed former New England Patriots TE Christian Fauria. Fauria's position coach at New England was Jeff Davidson who is now the Panther's Offensive Coordinator.

Fauria's bounced around with some different teams. He's passable, should catch a few balls, but not much more than second TE material.

I'm thinking they brought him in for leadership reasons. Carolina has young TE's and having someone who knows how to catch the ball will provide a service to the team.
