Panthers vs Rams

Big Monday Night win for the Panthers yesterday. Even with the flu, Steve Smith was awesome, catching 8 passes for 149 yards and a touchdown. Next up for 5-4 Carolina is a 4-5 St. Louis Rams team that lost a close one to Seattle on Sunday. Who wins this Week 11 match-up?

Re: Panthers vs Rams

I am going to say that Carolina will come away with it, but if Torry Holt goes off it will be hard for the secondary to stop him and cover Bruce at the same time.

Re: Panthers vs Rams

Even as a Rams fan, I have to go with the Panthers and Steve Smith.

USATODAY.com - Football - St. Louis vs. Carolina
The Carolina Panthers are back in the hunt for the NFC South title, but they know they still have plenty to work on.

The Panthers hope for a more consistent effort Sunday when they host the struggling St. Louis Rams.

Carolina (5-4) returned from its bye week on Monday and avoided a third straight loss, beating Tampa Bay 24-10 at home. The victory came after a humiliating 35-14 loss to Dallas at Bank of America Stadium on Oct. 29 in which the Panthers allowed 25 fourth-quarter points.

``We really laid an egg 15 days ago against Dallas,'' quarterback Jake Delhomme said. ``It's just nice to get a win. It's a crazy league.''
