Canes Can't Squeeze Past Bruins
Joni Pitkanen tallied early and Ray Whitney added a goal late in the third period, but it wasn't enough as the Hurricanes fell to the Eastern Conference-leading Bruins, 4-2, at TD Banknorth Garden on Saturday. Cam Ward registered 32 saves in the loss.
