| Canes beat Thrashers 6-3. high scoring game. 2 goals and an assist for Staal, a goal and an assist for Scott Walker, Erik Cole gets a goal and an assist. Corvo and Ryan Bayda score the rest. for the ailing Thrashers? Thorburn, Christensen and who else but Kovalchuk. Lehtonen was pulled in the 2nd period and replaced by Hedberg.
