I don't blame Bill. However, I think Johnny B. saw the handwriting on the wall and is bailing before the ship sinks.

The really sad thing is this might not have happened if Rick Hendrick and Jeffie-Pooh hadn't have stabbed Bill squarely in the back, back in 1993.

It's a shame because Bill has a reputation of treating his people well. He even hung with Scott Wimmer after his drunk driving incident.

He's going to be partnered with David Starr at Red Horse Racing. I'm not sure how that combination will work out. But then Johnny did OK when he had James Ince as a crew chief in Cup and Johnny and James are about as opposite as you can get so...? We shall see.
