Hornaday cuts into points deficit with Texas victory

Ron Hornaday took the lead on Lap 108 of the Chevy Silverado 350K at Texas Motor Speedway and never looked back as the defending Truck Series champion cruised to his sixth victory on the season and cut his deficit to single digits on points leader Johnny Benson.

Another good run by Hornaday! That was a fun race to watch. Bummer for Cale Gale. Rookie mistake, but it happens.

How can this be? There MUST be some mistake!?

Why, they don't even have a playoff format in CTS! How can there be a close points race? According to what we were told, the playoff format would create the most competitive points racing in professional racing, guaranteeing racing excitement.

Single digit point difference? You must be yanking our collective chains!
