Chrissy Rides Again

Chrissy Wallace in the #9 Toyota at AMS: Germain Racing driver Chrissy Wallace worked her way into the NASCAR ranks starting with Legends Racing. She captured her first win, driving a Bandelero car, at Atlanta Motor Speedway on the small oval course. When she graduated to Legends cars, she also won at Atlanta. Wallace is looking forward to driving the Germain.com Tundra in NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series competition in Saturday's E-Z-GO 200. This weekend, Wallace will work with #9 Germain.com Toyota crew chief Jason Overstreet.(Germain Racing PR)(

Apparently Germaine is willing to do what it takes to get Mike's daughter to a good full time ride. Good for Germaine! I'm sure, with their rep, they could get a bigger name driver in the #9 but they seem content to let new drivers get their stripes. NA__AR needs more teams like this.

Good luck, Chrissy.

Good luck to her. I hope she does well.... even if she's in a Yota.

Q, I like you new tag line. Truer words were never spoken. Being a fairly recent grad, I think you might find some relevance in one or these:

"Knowledge has outstripped character development, and the young today are given an education and not an upbringing." -ILYA EHRENBURG, 1967

"It is better to be able to neither read nor write than to be able to do nothing else." - WILLIAM HAZLETT, 1821

Do these relate to any former classmates or professors you might know? <g>

Believe it or not I saw this quote in class once. I got out of doin the quarter endin project with the "discussion" I unloaded on the teacher. He gave me an 110% for the project. The second speaks a great amount.

This is way off topic and I know few care about my personal view of government education. I'm replying via PM.

Fantastic! I know she's in the Truck full time in '09, but I'm glad she's running this weekend too! Go Chrissy!!
