Newman in Truck at Atlanta

From jayski.com:
UPDATE: Ryan Newman, known as "The Rocket Man," slides in behind the wheel of the #2 Kevin Harvick Inc. American Commercial Lines Chevy for the first time at Atlanta Motor Speedway. Newman has never driven in the Truck Series, but has an astounding pole record in the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series with seven poles in thirteen Sprint Cup starts at AMS.(Kevin Harvick Inc. PR)(10-20-200

This could be interesting. Just so he doesn't screw up the race for the CTS drivers.

Interesting.. I wonder how much quaffling they had to do in order to get him in that Bowtie when he usually sits in a Ram?..... might be cause all he has done this year is one win.

Maybe he'll do like Jimmie, oh excuse me, Jim Johnson did and take his self out. The cup drivers need to stay away from the truck series. We don't need them to ruin that series too, they've done enough by ruining busch and cup. At least leave us one good race. Kyle can stay there though, at least he races like the truck drivers do.

unlike JJ, Ryan is one of only a small handfull of Cup drivers who, like Kyle, have the heart of a CTS racer. Kevin is pretty shrewd about picking the right kind of driver for his stuff.

No hadn't forgotten... just hadn't heard if dodge had released him yet for the rest of the year.
