Yeah, I guess we saw, all right. Guess maybe the Bears were overrated. Or maybe the Vols underrated. Either way, it wasn't a pretty game if your a Cal fan, now was it? I, for one, am stunned by the final result. Didn't think Tennessee has that in them!

12 carries 75 yards and a long one of 22...not exactly a flying start there candlejack...but look man...I believe... I got my rally hat on for the rest of the year for this Lynch kid...

Cal overrated?? It appears so. That was ugly.

Cal doesn't get much national respect probably because they're one of those west coast teams that isn't televised a lot for the East and Mid-West portion of the country. However, at some point during the year they always seem to win one or two big games that keeps them in the national polls.

Oh boy, was that ever ugly! I think UT was a bit underrated. The weak point was Cal's secondary and the offensive line. Even thoygh Cal had its Johnson knocked in the dirt, They can identify its weak points and come out better the next week. It's just week one, I'm not raising the white flag yet.

I'm not much of a Pac 10 fan, but I will root for Cal over USC any day. I too think Tennessee was underrated. They had a season last year where everything that could go wrong did. They still had a ton of talent. They will be tough in the SEC this year.

Thanks for the post AZ. I think the current poll is a true reflection of were these teams should be.
