| Bears can't stand to watch TV BERKELEY — ESPN's college football ratings have taken a hit in the Berkeley area lately. "I don't watch anything with college on it," Cal wide receiver Lavelle Hawkins said. "If something college comes on, I turn the TV off or just leave. It still hurts a lot." "The moment college football comes on, I just turn it off," Cal linebacker Justin Moye added. "I don't want to see anything about us." The Bears apparently can't bear to watch the coverage of what has happened to them the past few weeks. It was just 21/2 weeks ago they were ranked No. 2 in the country and a legitimate player in the national championship race. Three losses in a row later, Cal has fallen out of the top 25 for the first time in two years and is simply in a battle to earn a berth in a respectable bowl game. Full Story
