| Tedford sticks with game plan BERKELEY — Don't expect any major changes just because Cal is on a three-game losing streak in football. That's not because Jeff Tedford hasn't considered it. The Bears coach admitted that he's thought long and asked himself if he needs to be doing anything differently. "It causes you to reflect and look in the mirror and say, 'Are we doing the right thing?'" Tedford said. "It wouldn't be fair if you didn't. But as I go back and look at it, we've been very successful here for a long time. We have something to hang our hat on here." This is the first three-game losing streak at Cal since Tedford took over the program in 2002. Tedford has compiled a 48-23 record with the Bears. "Just because we've stumbled a little bit, I don't think it's a reason to panic and start changing everything," Tedford said. "If you start doing that, then what's left? You start changing your beliefs about things that we're doing? It's getting back to staying focused on the details and the discipline that we need to have, and the passion that we need to have for the game." Full Story
