| Loss dampens Jackson's big day PASADENA — DeSean Jackson bounced back from one of his worst games of the season to have one of his best Saturday, but it still was an empty feeling when he went back to the sidelines after Alterraun Verner's interception return for a touchdown sealed UCLA's 30-21 victory. Jackson caught nine passes for 136 yards and two touchdowns, but could only watch when Verner stepped in front of him to pick off a pass from Nate Longshore and return it 76 yards for a score. "When they got that interception and scored, I was sitting over there in the worst mood ever," Jackson said. "We just weren't able to do what we need to do to win." Full Story

| Re: Loss dampens Jackson's big day Jackson had a good game, but he hasn't been stellar this year - he does lead the Golden Bears in receptions with 41, but is actually second on the team to Lavelle Hawkins with 453 receiving yards (Hawkins has 559) and has pulled down just four touchdowns in seven games. Take away the UCLA performance and the numbers are even worse. I'm left wondering why.
