Cal vs. Tennessee

Big rematch for the Golden Bears, who lost to Tennessee 35-18 last September. This time around, Cal will be the home team, and man, oh, man have they got some weapons, including WR DeSean Jackson and QB Nate Longshore. Rivals.com says that the Golden Bears feature the best corps of wide receivers in the Pac-10. Will that potent passing attack be enough to lead them over UT on Saturday?

Thumbs up Re: Cal vs. Tennessee

It does not matter that Cal get this game @ "home". Memorial Stadium filled to capacity is the same amount of people that go watch Vandy every week. Cal's main problem last year, besides under estimating Tennessee, was lack of speed. Sure you have one if not the fastest and most skilled WR in college football, but the lack of speed everywhere else will still cause problems this go around. Our DE's are fast, LB's, CB's, and most every other position, Cal cannot match up. We have to rush Longshore because we know what he can do if he gets to sit back and choose where he feels like throwing it. Good Luck my friend on Saturday and I looking forward to seeing what Berkeley has to offer Saturday Night!

Good Luck and Good Day

Hey, OrangeBlur, and welcome to GoTeamsGo!

Should be a great game, but I can't help but wonder... will Ainge be 100% after injuring his finger?

Re: Cal vs. Tennessee

OK, 10 min left in the first quarter and the score is tied at 7. I guess Cal took the opening kickoff for a TD. Sounds like Cal is picking up where it left off last year. Forsett just broke a big run! Looking good so far.

Re: Cal vs. Tennessee

Wow, that was a good game. For all of you Cal fans at least. Cal is no doubt a better all around football team than a year ago. I was impressed with the speed and our D Line was impressed by your O line. Good Luck the rest of the year Cal fans because I do not know how often I will make it back to post on a regular basis. Do me one favor will ya? TAKE DOWN THE TROJANS!

Good Luck and Good Game

Orange, I'm pretty sure that Cal will do its best to take out the Trojans, the only other blemish on their record last year.
