Cal's 2007 Recruiting Class

California head coach Jeff Tedford and the Golden Bears have signed another nationally-ranked recruiting class in 2007. Here are his thoughts during his signing day press conference held in the Hall of Fame room in Memorial Stadium.

Cal's 2007 Recruiting Class

Eight high school All-Americans highlight a 26-player signing class for the University of California football program. The Golden Bears have added 21 high-school stars, three junior-college transfers, one prep school standout and one four-year transfer, head coach Jeff Tedford announced on Wednesday.

Wow, Jeff really went all over the place to recruit this year. Usually, he just stays in the West. If I remember right, the RB Best Is the ESPN # 22 ranked player in the country. Also, according to ESPN, Cal had the #30 signing class this year. Not too bad for a school that wasn't all that much a few years ago.
