The Golden Bears against the Aggies of A&M? The Bears should be 9-3 after this weekend when they really should be 11-1. What I have seen of the Aggies I'm not real impressed with. Cal 38, A&M 24

Not impressed? I hope everyone at Cal feels that way.
Remember, our 3 losses were by a combined 6 points. Had our coach used our 280+lb running back like he should have, we most likely would have beat both Nebraska and OU (both 1 point losses). We have found a way to be in every game and I don't think this one will be any different.
I think the Aggies will win in another close game, 27-24.

Bears Blast Aggies To Win Holiday Bowl

Unlike two years ago, the California Golden Bears played like they wanted to be in the Holiday Bowl.Marshawn Lynch ran for 111 yards and two touchdowns, and the No. 20 Golden Bears' defense played impressively in a 45-10 win over No. 21 Texas A&M on Thursday night.

Wow, candlejack, it was an even bigger Bears victory than you predicted (45-10). I never expected this game to be so lopsided. Huge day for Lynch, who ran 20 times for 111 yards and 2 TDs, and Justin Forsett added 124 yards and another score. Cal earns their 2nd 10-win season in three years.

Re: Holiday Bowl: Cal vs. Texas A&M

The only thing missing from this game was a Jackson return for a TD! I started to have my douts when the Aggies scored first and had 10 points in the first quarter. Then the offense started going through their paces, Lynch broke some big plays, Jackson had a huge catch in the first part of the third quarter that led to a TD. Overall, a great game for the Bears. The one down point was the last TD scored with under a minute left in the game. Levy was instructed to take a knee and called a run. Teford has much respect for the coach of the Aggies and didn't want to add insult to injury. Oh, one other comment, if Lynch makes himself eligible for the NFL Draft, How good of a RB is Forsett going to be? Will Forsett be a Heisman canidate? I guess I can make another thread to discuss this possibility.

We were outclassed by Cals speed. We did not have the athletes to match them, proving we still have a long way to go. Congrats to Cal.

Thanks, AZAggie. I'm just curious on how the final poll will end up. Anyone else?
