Here we are. One of the biggest games of the season for Cal. A win this week will vault them up in the polls to about where they were in the preseason. Oregon had a pretty mediocre day last week beating the Sun Devils 48-13 while the Golden Bears had pretty much the same kind of day with a 41-13 win over the Beavers of Oregon State.

The game this week is the sure test for both teams. The winner of this game is sure to challange USC for the conference title and a possible BCS Bowl bid. Any comments on how this game is going to go? Post them here.

Ducks win!!! Oregon 37 - Cal 17..... I hope. I wouldn't be suprised if Cal wins big. Momentum will be everything

I think Oregon will win this game but it could go either way. Oregon at least has a defense, Still not sure what kind of defense Cal has after seeing the missed tackles in the Tennessee game. I predict Oregon wins 35-31.

Nice try tvolsfan! At least you picked the right team. What a game! 45-24 Cal!!!!! Nate Longshore looked very good. Marshawn was doing pretty good until he got injured close to the end of the first half. DeSean Jackson had an awesome night with a touchdown catch and a 65 yars punt return for a TD. Justin Forsett rused for 163 yards and a TD in relief of Lynch. Overall, a great win for the Golden Bears. The defense rose up and held the PAC-10 leading rusher from Oregon, Jonathon Stewart , to 25 yards on 18 carries. DB Brandon Hamton made an immediate impact by making an interception on Oregon's first offensive play. Miscues were a major facor in the Duck's loss, with Cal capitalizing on them. If Cal isn't ranked in the top 12, I think the voters really need to watch how much this team has improved sinse week 1.
