| Cal vs. Oregon State Week#5, Cal travels to oregon State to play the Beavers. Time of the Kickoff is 1:05 pm PST. The game will not be on TV, so I'm stuck watching other games hoping to find updates and watching SportsCenter for highlights. The Bears are 3-1 after a tremendous butt-whipping given to ASU 49-21. The Beavers are at 2-1, beating Idaho last time 38-0. OSU is not nationally ranked. Do the Beavers have a chance to beat the Golden Bears? The two teams that OSU has wins against are the forementioned Idaho team and Eastern Washington. I know that East. Washington is a Div II team, Idaho is a subpar team from the WAC. I doesn't look good for the Beavers this week. What are your thoughts?

| Did you by chance see what the Beavs did against BSU? They luckily scored the first 14pts of the game and totally took the home crowd out of it. Then Mike Riley (idiot coach) proceeded to let BSU reel off something like 42 unanswered points and run play after play right up the gut for 10 to 20 yards a shot. It was ugly, but lets get serious what you really meant to ask is aren't all you Bears fans nervous for when the real Oregon team comes to town the next week. GOOD LUCK WITH THE DUCKS YOU'LL NEED IT Have fun using oregon state as a practice squad! |

| Re: Cal vs. Oregon State Oregon State has no impact players left on a team that hasn't been up to par for several years now. It seems like not very long ago that they had chad Johnson and t.j. houshmenzada (or however you spell it) and even stephen Davis running the ball. Now all they seem to get are a bunch of transplants that weren't good enough to play in SO. Cal. or had too big of aditude problems for "smart" coaches like Carrol to deal with. I live about 15 minutes from Reeser stadium but don't ever go watch the Beavs play because it's always either watching them destroy teams like Portland State or GET destoyed by teams like Cal. The Bears should go ahead and look past the Beavs and know that the toughest game of the year will be the next weekend! GO DUCKS!!! Attachment 10 Last edited by JKHOSS : 10-04-2006 at 11:12 PM. |

| Re: Cal vs. Oregon State OK, I know that UO is a pretty good team and that OSU is mucking down around where Stanford is. That doesn't mean that Cal should look past OSU. I think, just recently, a different team was looking past their current opponent and had their butts handed to them. Cal can't look past any team at all if they want to have a chance at a BCS bowl, I know they don't have a chance at the national title. I will be happy with a conference championship and a BCS bowl. |
