He was officially introduced to the Calgary media yesterday, and had this to say:
"Obviously I'm well aware I wasn't the most popular pickup in Calgary Flames history, but at the same time I think you've got to give it a little time and give me a chance," he said. "I can't lie to you. It's not the jersey I thought I was going to wear, but at the same time I played enough games here to know what kind of fan base and what kind of team they are."

He wishes he were still in Anaheim, I guess. he also said he won't be able to slip under the radar up here in Hockey land and he will benefit from that.
When we got Mogilny i TO, he was very reticent too - said he wanted to stay in jersey but they couldn't afford him. it was hard to be excited - at first. but he grew on us. But Bertuzzi is no Mogilny.

yeah real canadian boy. Sounds like he'd rather be on Huntington Beach on his off days than be in the thick of things in a great canadian hockey city. Atta boy Toddo, if you can't put up the offence anymore, at least you can alienate the Calgary hockey faithful.
