MICK the goof Magoo has once again screwed the Flames but this time instead of making a horse crap call against Calgary,it was 2 non calls in the Mar 29th Sat nite game against Edmonton in Calgary.
I have yet to see a game in which Calgary Plays and Magoo refs which results in a Flames victory,instead it usually is a typical penality parade or as in tonites game, many non-calls so blantant that a blind man could see them,
much less a building full of fans and millions on TV.
I have written to the NHL voicing my complaints about the 2man referee system not working as either the ref behind the net misses a blantant call or the one at centre ice,magically see's it happen behind the net from 60 feet away through the many players.Then there is the stupid calls regarding the so called stick infractions,what is and isn't called could fill 1000 stinky hockey bags.
Either train the refs better and make the calls more uniformed ie..call everything that is considered a foul or don't call any and get rid of the 2 ref system or increase the ice surface as there isn't much room out there to begin with !! and we certainly don't need any more dead weight like Magoo cluttering the ice...
In case you feel I'm just squishing some sour grapes,please feel free to watch Magoo when he Refs ,then make your conclusion...All I know is he seems very bias against the Flames!!

I felt that way with the leafs and hard hair ref kerry Fraser. He used to be out to get us every game - not so much anymore since Tucker learned to shut up.
So Flames are your team? Iginla's one of my top 5 favourite players.
You have legitimate arguments too - they are human after all but how do they miss the calls that take place right in front of them and then see non calls from that far away?

I think NHL refs are the worst in sports. The NFL being right behind them. But a big part of that is just the speed of hockey. That doesn't give them a pass on the stuff that happens right in their face, but it accounts for some of it.

I know that I feel the same during most games, but the more games I have watched over the years, the more I feel that all of em just stink!!

yeah I agree - they make decisions sometimes based on fairy tales or mood swings - if you saw the Buff-toronto game last night, you'd know what i mean.

I turned it over last night and only got to see the shootout!!

I discovered that I had more channels than I thought. WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAYYYYYYYYYYYy up in the 700's, I found some hockey, NBA, and baseball channels!

Indeed! I wish I had noticed before the shootout. I had about 5 more baseball games and a few hockey games I could have been watching last night!!
