The Cougars' 2007 gets off to a fast start as they host the Arizona Wildcats on Saturday. It's going to be tough for BYU to stop the Air Zona passing attack. Then again, it'll probably be hard for the 'Cats to shut down RB Fui Vakapuna and the BYU ground game. Can Brigham Young pull this one out?

I like the Y, they have a winning streak and all...but I don't seem Max Hall and the Cougars pulling this one off...

Man, was I wrong...so far...Max Hall is throwing all over Arizona...Right now the kid is having a big, big game...19 out of 31 for 218 yards and 2 TD...he jsut hit on a 48 yarder.

Though Vakapuna is not a factor with 9-22 on the ground.

BYU up 13-0 in the 3rd.

The kid looks good, no doubt about it.

How about that Cougar defense? Arizona only has 9 yards rushing and 88 total yards late in the third quarter!

Yep, but it was poor Max Hall I picked on...the upside is I wrote an article on the kid (elsewhere) where I hedged my bets and said nice things about him...soooo...I covered myself!

Nice to see the Y defense up for a game though...We always know they will pass well, but it's nice to see them play some D.
