| Afinogenov gets 10 mill Up from last 1.086 mill last season, he now gets 10 mill over the next 3 years. He comes off a 73 point season, so he earned something better, anyway. he was big for the sabres making it as far as they did. I still haven't heard anything re Briere. looking into that...      |

| Re: Afinogenov gets 10 mill ...they have 48 hours from the last player set to go to arbitration to decide on whether they will keep Briere or let him go. It looks like that player is Adam mair on Aug 4. |
