Sabres re-sign Paille, Mancari, And MacArthur

Buffalo Sabres General Manager Darcy Regier announced today that forward Daniel Paille has agreed to terms on a multi-year deal. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Buffalo Sabres General Manager Darcy Regier announced today that forwards Clarke MacArthur and Mark Mancari have accepted their qualifying offers.

MacArthur (4/6/85, 6’1”, 180lbs) collected 15 points (8+7) in 37 games last season with the Sabres. The Lloydminster, Alberta native also appeared in 51 games in Rochester (AHL) where he totaled 21 goals and 42 assists (21+42=63). At the time of his first recall of the season to Buffalo last year, MacArthur was leading the American Hockey League in scoring with 18 points (8+10) in only 14 games.

In 56 career National Hockey League games, MacArthur has 22 points (11+11). MacArthur was selected in the third round (74th overall) in the 2003 NHL Entry Draft.

Mancari (7/11/85, 6’3”, 225lbs) collected 57 points (21+36) last season in 80 games in Rochester to lead the team in scoring. In January 2008, as a member of the Canadian team at the 2008 AHL All Star Game, Mancari set a league record when he fired a 102.8 MPH slapshot in the RBK O-Stick Hardest Shot contest in the annual skills competition.

In three seasons in Rochester, the London, Ontario native has played in 215 AHL games and has picked up 62 goals and 94 assists (62+94+156) in his professional career. During the 2006-07 season, Mancari played three games with the Sabres, where he picked up one assist. Mancari was selected in the seventh round (207th overall) in the 2004 NHL Entry Draft.

Pretty god, but we need Miller and Pominville resigned.

Hey, at least it's a start, right? How close are they on Miller and Pominville?
