| Rivet's a Sabre defenceman Craig Rivet comes over from SJ along with 7th round pick in 2010 draft for 2nd round picks in 2009 and 2010. I liked Rivet on the Habs. Rivet appeared in 74 games with San Jose last season, picking up 35 points and 104 penalty minutes. In 13 postseason games, he collected six assists. Rivet was an assistant captain last year with the Sharks.

| Re: Rivet's a Sabre Good pick up for the Sabres. Makes me wonder why the Sharks traded him at all, though. Seems like too good of a talent to let get away. |

| Re: Rivet's a Sabre Well we got the defense down. Spacek and Rivet Tallinder and Lydman Weber and Sekera. Just need a forward that will help us. Let's go after Sundin and waiver Max Afinogenov for the cap space. |
