so, not happy. Alot of talk about these injuries that are affecting the sabres, as defencemen drop like flies. And these guys don't fool around. tallinder, broken arm, Kalinin, broken ankle. Numminen with perpetual groin pull. All gone for season. A couple of guys named Jillson and janik are the replacements.
Plus gerber's on a high (a shutout, no less) and recchi's starting to be the Recchi I loved a few years back.
I thought they could get past it, but seems it's caught up. regroup. In raleigh, too. All i can think is, the sabres are like mosquitoes and they are not gone until they are slapped dead. and they aren't dead yet.

I got a vested interest in Jillson (from a hockey card perspective)

Strengths:
Combines great size and physical play with offensive potential. Possesses a heavy point shot and the ability to key a power play.

Weakness:

His offensive nature can sometimes lead to low-percentage plays at inopportune times. Needs to pick his spots better in the physical department, as well.
