Well, there goes my spirit. Buffalo players are too lazy to get up and start playing. They know if they loose it's over, so why the hell would you not try?
They should have tries the hardest game they have ever played and stayed that way. I feel very disappointed.

I know what the disappointment is, though, of watching your team show up but then decide not to play.
Big drop from last year to this year - sort of a Hurricanes thing the Sabres did.
I bet there'll be a ton of regrouping done this summer. Sabres need it.

Although Montreal will not be able to win in the cup. Even if they make it, the most likely team to make it, Detroit, would pile up goals like crazy. If it's Aneheim, it's concussion city.

I wouldn't assume that yet - Montreal is definitely one of the big contenders for the cup - detroit has finished well before and then been a no-show in the post.

You have to take a look at the west man! Will Montreal beat those hard teams?

did you ever think tampa bay would beat the flames in 04?
did you think the devils would beat anaheim in 03?
everyone always says this - every season - that the west is better than the east - and the east alway has a few surprises - plus the best teams in the west get beaten by the not so best like edmonton and calgary.
I'm not saying it might not happen - just don't be so sure it will happen.

But you forget they had big players. I mean if they kick in they are a threat. But Montreal isn't physical. Think they could take Aneheim? No they would get injuries all around.

I would still stand by what I said - big or small - they may be bruised and black and blue, but if they skate fast enough, and can get the puck past the goalie - 2hich Montreal is very good at - they can win. I'd also put money on Price before I'd put money on alot of other goalies -
Giguere's been hurt for a long time.
