Re: Sabres winless streak hey guys its ben a while. well just finishing watching another disappointing game the sabres would lose to make their winless streak 10. that means that out of a possible 20 points, they have, what , 4 or 5 to show? horrible. im a little depressed, but now isnt the time to give up at all. its about midway in the season and the sabres have PLENTY of time to get their act together. it seems that injuries are really hurting them right now and i cant wait til everyone gets back. there really isnt that spark like there was last year. i always thought the sabres would come back to win, and now they cant, not even in overtime or a shootout. wheres the hope, the excitement, the thrill of watching sabres hockey? i rly miss briere and drury now, if only they would have known how much of an impact them leaving would have made on the team still, theres lots of talent. numminen (hopefully coming back soon), finny, roy, connolly - theyre missed deeply by the team and the fans. this would have been a big win, but now, we have to look toward atlanta friday, and then toronto saturday, a monumental game to say the least. so a little upset, but im keeping the flame burnin

I thought numminen was gone for the season? and vs. toronto? the way we've been playing this year, beating us won't be a challenge - winning will be a cakewalk. |

Re: Sabres winless streak extends to their 8th consecutive road loss after last night's loss to Phoenix. 6-2. No stars with hat tricks - everyone was scoring (Doan, Derek Morris, Niko kapanen, Peter Mueller, Daniel Winnik, Jovanovski for the Coyotes, Gaustad and Vanek for the Sabres). Thibault vs. Bryzgalov. 33 shots to 21. Buffalo got 21 shots off all game - no wonder they lost by so much.

Re: Sabres winless streak ok so much for a winless streak. how about a win-full streak, if i can even say that? def the sabres are one of the streakiest teams, and this only proves the point. all u sabres fans, fair weather or hard core, i have this to say: NEVER GIVE UP ON THE SABRES. NEVER NEVER NEVER. UNTIL THE LAST POSSIBLE MOMENT. the sabres organization has made such big strides up until now and yea they have a ways to go but theyre making HUGE progress and it looks like theyre connecting. drury and briere, start whining, because ur only going to wish u never left the great team that is emerging from buffalo.

Re: Sabres winless streak definitely miller would, hands down. there is no sole offenseman that has pulled the team together, but rather there has been contributions from different players on different nights that helped put some goals on the board. miller has been PHENOMENAL - he has only allowed 12 goals in 5 games which also includes a shutout and an overtime loss to atlanta that resulted in 5 goals against. he is solid and consistent every night and i think his play is beginning to spark the offense. because, as they all say, DEFENSE IS THE BEST OFFENSE.
