| Re: Martin Biron trade to all those people out there who arent very familiar with biron ill fill u in. biron has ben the backbone of the sabres organization for the last decade and has backed up star goalies like hasek and more recently miller to keep buffalo in the game. he stirred up the players on the ice and was a motivator for miller himself because his positive attitude had a resounding effect on how the players played. even tho he only got to start in a few games during a season he showed us that he was goalie worthy and was a solid force in net. of course when every1 thinks of biron now they can only think of that sabres - senators brawl on February 22 but trust me thats not the biron we buffalonians no. and now with one of the worst trades that regier could have made, biron is now off with the 30th placed team in the league who needs all the points they can get just to make the season respectable. if ure keeping up with the news, buffalo was doing good the first couple of games after the trade deadline but now its all going downhill. buffalo has just lost 3 straight games, a season high, with embarrasing losses to the Wild, Avalanche, and Devils, and now, theyre only 1 point in front of New Jersey whose aim is to grab the coveted first spot. because biron left it seems as if the entire team has no life anymore and it really shows. that excitment that buffalo provides has ben fading away recently and it just looks like they have no motivation. why? biron. without him, the team is a wreck, but all im hoping is that conklin can fill his shoes and become a solid backup like biron (and he did pretty good against the wild friday too so who knows). |
