Drury took a hit from Neil - who in my book is one of my top 5 least liked players in the NHL and no they aren't ALL Senators - that is described as a blind-side hit, so it was dirty, and Drury had a real bad cut because of it across his forehead.
This started a brawl that ended with, and this is so amusing, Sabres' tough guy Andrew Peters, Martin Biron and Ray Emery being ejected from the game. A tough guy and a pair of goalies.
What?
100 minutes of penalties handed out, 63 of those against Buffalo.
Game ends in a SO, Buff wins 6-5.
Oh to have been watching that. The picture in the Star has Emery fighting Peters.
Emery's got the reputation by now, but Biron?

Hi all,

I'm new to this forum...glad I found it! I love the SABRES!!!!!!

But, to reply to the brawl.....WHAT A FIGHT!!!! And when I saw Ruff climbing over the wall to get to Murray....I was screaming!!!

Nice to see the team sticking up for one another.

Glad Sabres took the game....was a dirty hit and even tho Ruff was fined 10 G's for sending out the "goon line," I was glad he did. Time to show these other hockey teams that they're not going to come to Buffalo and walk all over us.
