Buffalo Sabres winning streak

Last night, the Buffalo Sabres beat the Carolina Hurricanes, 5-4, to set a new franchise record for most consecutive wins. According to the AP, "The win over the defending Stanley Cup champions was Buffalo's 12th consecutive victory, setting a franchise record and surpassing the 11-game winning streak that began at the end of the 1974-75 season. They are one win from matching their best start ever, set in 1975."

How long do you think the 7-0 Sabres can keep winning like this?

I rather see a winning streak going into the playoffs...didn't the Senators get off to a great start last year?

Re: Buffalo Sabres winning streak

The Sabres are now 10-0, tying an NHL record for most consecutive wins to start a season with a 3-0 win over the Islanders last night. With a win over Atlanta on Saturday, they will have set a new mark for the best start in National Hockey League history. Can they do it?

Cool Re: Buffalo Sabres winning streak

After watching them last night, they can do it. But Atlanta has a lot more firepower than the impotent Isles...Buffalo blocks a million shots on D....

hi there and welcome - there is a place down at the bottom of the general page, 'Introduce yourself' where you can do just that to everyone, not just buffalo fans - make sure you do.
